Our eye doctor in Rockford takes the time to get to know each patient and understand their unique vision needs and concerns. Dr. Jackson will explain everything in detail and in an easy-to-understand manner, from your eye exam results to treatment options.

Chad J. Jackson, OD, DipACLM

Dr. Jackson received his Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science from Michigan State University in 1994. He graduated with his OD degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1998. From 1998 to 2005, he practiced in his hometown of Clare, MI. He and his family relocated to Rockford, MI, in 2005 after purchasing Bella Vista Family Eye Care. In 2023, he became an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. He then earned his Diplomate status from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine in December 2023.
More about Chad J. Jackson

Dr. Jackson and his wife, Tiffany, currently reside in Rockford. He is a member of the American and Michigan Optometric Associations, Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society, American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Rockford Lions Club, and Rockford Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife are currently serving as Co-pastors of the Northview Branch of the Community of Christ Church. If there is any spare time, he enjoys jogging and cooking.

Janessa Sloan

Janessa was born in Grand Rapids, MI, but spent time living in Summit County, Colorado. She currently resides in Caledonia, MI. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son doing anything outdoors. Janessa graduated from Kuyper College with a Bachelor’s in Social Work. She has been in the industry since 2020 and looks forward to many more.
